Grief Support at FFG United Methodist Church
Grief in our lives cannot be fully anticipated, and we are sometimes at a loss as to HOW to deal with our losses. Any form of
loss is, at its root, experienced as a loss of a part of one’s self – a portion of the very fabric of our existence has been ripped
from us.
Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church offers to everyone in the community, both men and women, a Grief Support & Care
Group. This support group offers a safe place for persons in grief to share with one another the way our lives have been
changed through loss (death, divorce, etc.) or ongoing grief due to a loved one’s debilitating illness.
We are listening posts for one another, we offer compassion to everyone’s questions and concerns, we discuss the spiritual
aspects of life and death through the assurance of our Christian faith, and we offer hope and support to one another during the
transition of handling life issues as life is built anew.
Again, this support group is open to anyone, in any stage of grief. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at
Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. For more information, please contact the church office
