As we begin a new year, the Library committee is transitioning to a new leadership team. After many
years of service, Kay Suttles and Becky Shovlin have decided to step down as co-chairs of the
committee. There really are no adequate words to convey our appreciation for their dedication and
hard work. Thanks also to Judith Steepleton for her continuing support and guidance for the
committee.
The new team will be Mary Cover, Suzanne Williams, and Amie McDonald, the computer guru for the
team. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact either Mary (707-5261) or
Suzanne (707-1493).
It takes many hands to keep the library running smoothly and if you are interested in being part of
our committee, please let us know. Our meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month at 2:00
p.m. in the library. If the meeting time presents a conflict for you and you still would like to help in the
library, we can provide you with the training. Just give Mary or Suzanne a call.
The library is a great resource for supplemental information and guidance for Bible study groups.
We know there are many classes and gatherings, and we offer our assistance. If you lead a class or
small group, please email Suzanne at glw1943@frontiernet.net with your topic of study. We can
provide your group with resources available in the library to enrich your study.
We invite all to stop by and visit the library. Watch for our article in the February Connection, where
we will give you book reviews and the latest news from the library.
