The Memorial Gardens
Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church
The Memorial Garden was established in 1991 for the purpose of interring the
cremains of members and immediate family members.

It was designated to be a place of natural beauty which can be enjoyed by all
of us.

We invite everyone to use the garden for meditation, prayer and appreciation
of the natural setting on grounds of the church.

The garden is maintained and upgraded from funds supplied by donations,
remembrances and interment fees.  The Memorial Garden Committee
coordinates maintenance and improvements.  A busy group of over 35 people
share the duties of weeding and tending to the planting.

New members who enjoy gardening are invited to join us.  Call Mary Roth
(484-4321) or Nancy Jones (456-0160) if you would like to help maintain this
special place.
See the History of the Memorial Garden in the Library!

The Memorial Garden Committee has completed a history of the garden and
compiled it  into an interesting book which is now in the library for all to enjoy. It
is a reference book & cannot be checked out. But, stop by and browse.
It will only take a few minutes to read. Pictures of the area before it became the
attractive garden that it is today are in the book along with photos of the
dedication service May 26, 1991.

Do visit our church library and ask one of the helpful librarians to see the book.
We think you will be informed and will enjoy learning about the Memorial Garden.
