Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church
The FFGUMM Prayer Breakfast Group has been meeting on Monday mornings since 1983!
Currently, we are meeting at the R&B Cafe on Peavine at 6:30 AM for early risers to drink coffee and get orders in by 7:00 AM. We
often have programs, but just as frequently have “open mike” for the issues of the day. We have great fellowship as we remember
the ill and infirm in our church and community and plan work activities for the week. Most of the work and projects done by the
UMM are planned and coordinated at this breakfast. We usually dole out work projects (painting to yard work, et al) for the men to
do for those in our church who perhaps don’t have the wherewithal or the health to accomplish themselves. We build handicap
ramps, help with the rummage sale, ice cream social and contribute to scholarship funds. We have on-going projects such as
providing dental braces now for our third young lady.
Why don’t you come join with us—good food, good company and an opportunity to praise of God to start your week.
