Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church
Rev. Will Wells, Senior Pastor

Our congregation welcomed Rev. Will Wells as our new Senior Pastor on
Sunday, June 22, 2008.  Rev. Wells was the Senior Pastor of the Savannah
First United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee, and has served that
congregation since 1998. He is 53 years of age and is married to Pam,
originally from Nashville, TN, and they have two adult sons. Rev. Wells
received a B.A. degree from Lambuth College (Jackson, TN) in 1977 and a
Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology, Emory University
in 1990.  His hobbies include hunting, fishing, painting, reading, and golf,
while his wife, Pam, enjoys stitching, reading, and the beach.





Rev. Lanita Monroe, Associate Pastor

Lanita was appointed to Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church in June
2002.  It was her first appointment and she says, "I'd just as soon it be my
only one."  She has two children, William and Lea.   William graduated from
Roane State Community College in May 2011 with his Associate degree in
Biology.  Lea is a student in Zoology/Pre-vet at Auburn University.  Lanita
calls Nashville, Tennessee her hometown.  She graduated with a BA in
History from Henderson State University in Arkansas and graduated with a
Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology of Emory University in
Atlanta in 2002.



Rebecca Gentry and Marty Gibson

Rebecca Gentry, Director of Music
Rebecca has served as the Director of Music at Fairfield Glade UMC since
1988. She has three daughters and twin grandchildren. Rebecca graduated
from ETSU in Johnson City, Tennessee. Later she completed graduate
courses at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. In addition
to her work in music at the church, Rebecca enjoys sharing music with
children "of all ages" in piano lessons. Just for fun, Rebecca enjoys
hammock time, yoga, and "just being."

Marty Gibson,  Assistant Director of Music
Marty served as Choral Director at Cumberland County High School and
brought his high school group to several civic groups in Fairfield Glade
during this tenure. He is an accomplished vocalist in both classical and
secular music and has taught private voice and guitar lessons in his private
studio.  Marty has been leader of Gospel Truth and Friends, a praise group
that leads the Sacred Encounters service at our church. This service, with its
contemporary music, has been instrumental in bringing new worshippers to
our church.  This fall Marty will assume the duties of Director of the
Cumberland County Choir.


Rev. Ken Miller as Director of Assimilation
Ken Miller is a retired United Methodist pastor from the Florida Annual
Conference; retiring in 2005.  He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Asbury
College and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.  
Ken served for 35 years in the Florida Conference.  The last 7 years were
spent as Senior Pastor of the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church in
Tampa, a congregation of 2,500 members.  Ken is married to Peggy and
they have two daughters.  Ken and Peggy retired to Fairfield Glade to be
close to Peggy's aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Wolcott.










Paulette Richardson, Director of Program Ministries
Paulette Richardson serves as Director of Program Ministries.  Her areas of
ministry include education and servant mission outreach.  Paulette has
been involved in Christian education for 30 years and has actively
participated in over 50 mission trips. She and her husband, Curt, have lived
in Fairfield Glade since 2001.  Two sons, two daughters-in-love and 5
grandchildren are just a few of the blessings God has given her.







Kathie Hillner, Church Administrator
Kathie and her husband, John, are originally from the Northern
Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area.  They have been blessed with two sons
and two grandsons.  As Church Administrator, Kathie maintains the financial
records of the church, and oversees the administrative operations and
facilities maintenance and use.  She is a Certified Public Accountant,
licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky, with thirty years of accounting
experience.  She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.





Mary Ellen Froehlich, Secretary
Mary Ellen and her husband, Ed, are originally from New Jersey, but
relocated to FFG from Florida in 2006.  While in NJ and FL Mary Ellen spent
35 years as an insurance agent/customer service representative.  She has
three sons, one daughter, and eight grandchildren.  Mary Ellen enjoys
knitting, dancing and reading and, as our secretary, is ready to address your
needs in the FFGUMC office on Tues., Thurs., and Fri.



Louise Goodman, Secretary
A native New Yorker, Louise and husband, Carl, moved to Fairfield Glade in
2008 after living over 30 years in  New Mexico.  Now a retired real estate
broker, Louise finds joy and delight serving this congregation as a part time
secretary.  Louise loves to read, tromp through nature and outdoors, teach
paper crafts and rubber stamping.



Leo Radatz,  Sexton
We are proud to introduce to you, Leo Radatz, our new Sexton.  Leo and his
wife, Margaret, reside here in Fairfield Glade.  They have two sons who live
in Paris, TN and Roanoke, VA.  Prior to his retirement, Leo worked for Sierra
Properties in Colorado Springs, CO for 12 years where he was employed by
a commercial property management company as a building engineer.  We
are pleased to have found someone with his capabilities.  



Donna Campbell, Custodian
Donna has been an employee of the church for the past 13 years.  Originally
from Michigan, Donna resides in Pleasant Hill with her husband of 40 years,
Gerald. They have one daughter and two grandchildren who live in
Crossville. Her hobbies are gardening and  camping. Donna is an essential
member of our custodial staff who  willingly assists members with their
various requests.


Helen Hill, Nursery Attendant
Helen has been taking care of children at our church for at least 12 years.   
Helen lives here in FFG and helps her daughter to care for her children,
Helen's grandchildren.  Helen is always ready to help someone in need of
care.



Joyce Stackhouse, Communications & Website
Joyce and her husband, Bob, moved to FFG in 2006 from Michigan.  Joyce
ran her own computer training/services company there for ten years.  Bob
and Joyce have 3 sons and 2 grandsons still in Michigan.  Joyce enjoys
golfing, gardening and of course, computers!  She maintains our website
and helps in the office.
